Peter Thomas Roth Pumpkin Enzyme Mask

I did a poll on my Instagram stories asking what type of content you all want to see more of. Skin care was at the top of the list so let’s get into it. For me, my good skin care habits started in my early twenties. During college I worked for two well known day spas in LA. The first day spa I worked at taught me the importance of regular facials and introduced me to the different types of skin care products. Before working at the first spa, I was a cleanser and moisturizer type of girl. It was there I learned about toners, serums, exfoliants, and masks. At the second spa, l learned different types of facials that target different areas of concern; acne, oily skin, anti-aging, etc.

A few years ago, I started trying different product lines other than what was recommended to me by the spas that I worked at. I have acne prone, oily/combination skin and I must say this is the best my skin has ever looked! I finally feel comfortable wearing no makeup.

Allow me to introduce you to a game changer in my skin care routine. One of my favorite exfoliators is the Peter Thomas Roth Pumpkin Enzyme Mask. If you are a beginner in your skin care journey let’s go over what an exfoliator does.

What is exfoliating?

Exfoliating is the process of removing dead skin cells from the surface of your skin using a chemical, granular substance, or exfoliation tool. The pumpkin enzyme mask falls under the granular physical substance. I love exfoliating 2-3 times a week. Once I started doing this I saw a big difference in my skin.

What is the Peter Thomas Roth Pumpkin Enzyme Mask?

This is mask is listed on Sephora as a three-in-one skin resurfacer that exfoliates, peels, and visibly polishes. The mask addresses the look of dull, aging complexion, textured skin, fine lines, and wrinkles. Its main ingredients are pumpkin enzyme, AHA (alpha hydroxy acid), and aluminum oxide.

How to get glowing skin

I’m in love with this product. This isn’t one of those products where you have to wait to see the results. You will definitely see a difference after the first use. And you will see a huge improvement after consistently using it over time. I add this into my routine twice a week. I apply it to my face and neck after I cleanse and pat dry. I leave it on 5-7 minutes, and rub it in with wet fingertips right before rinsing it off. Heads up, you will feel a slight tingle while the product is on.

My skin can literally be looking dull, oily, and blah. I’ll use the pumpkin enzyme mask and viola, my skin is bright and glowing. Try it for yourself and let me know how you like. Or if you’ve tried it, what are your thoughts?
