It’s the holiday season and that’s also known as the travel season. Whether you’re headed home to visit your family, the family of your significant other, or simply taking a much needed vacay, you may just find yourself in the midst of the airport chaos.
With everything going on (last minute packing, the stress of running errands before your trip, and the dreadful feeling that you might have forgotten something), you may want to resort to the comfy leggings, t-shirt, and UGG boots for the airport...DON’T! You never know if your luggage is going to be delayed so you always want to look put together. True story: I was traveling to Florida from LA for work with a few of my co-workers. When we landed we were told our luggage didn’t make the connecting flight. We had a business dinner scheduled shortly after we landed and we didn’t have time to wait for our luggage. Luckily, I traveled in style; and although it wasn’t what I had planned to wear, I definitely didn’t feel uncomfortable at the nice restaurant. Unfortunately I can’t say the same for one of my co-workers.

One of the biggest fashion trends of fall 2018 is animal print, with an emphasis on leopard and snakeskin. Animal print is definitely one of my favorite trends of fall 2018 because it’s fierce, edgy, sexy, and bossy! You can go all out like I did and rock an animal print dress, coat, or jumpsuit. If you’re a little apprehensive and want a more subtle approach, try incorporating animal print in your accessories.

So I was working on a Fall Boots For Every Budget post and came across these beauties. I love the shape and height of the heel. I haven’t tried these on (although I’m really considering buying them!) but they just look as if you would wear them all day with ease. The color is a deep red which is great for fall. I like that the red isn’t too bright but it’s not exactly burgundy either.

To know me is to know that my niece, Dasia, is a huge part of my life and has been since the day she was born. I am the youngest in my family so I’ve never had someone I was responsible for helping to teach morals or life lessons. When she was younger I helped teach her to crawl and walk, along with her ABC’s and 123’s. Now that she’s growing into this amazing little girl with a dynamic personality, I’m finding that the teachings go beyond education.
